The goal of Alon Asphalt - Bakersfield is to be the leader in the research, development, and manufacture of all products in our fields of endeavor. We strive, through laboratory research and testing, to be at the forefront in the development of environmentally friendly products (like TOPEIN®S) for the treatment of soil for dust abatement, soil stabilization, erosion control, and pile-capping. Aided by the most advanced manufacturing equipment available, technical knowledge and decades of hands on experience in the asphalt industry, we plan to be the vanguard in the use of modifiers and recyclable products in the manufacture of asphalt emulsions, TOPEIN® emulsions, and binders.

Asphalt and TOPEIN® Emulsions

Alon Asphalt - Bakersfield manufactures a variety of Cationic and Anionic asphalt emulsions for road construction, overlay, maintenance, cold mix binder, rejuvenation and preservation.  Alon Asphalt – Bakersfield also manufactures a unique sealer/rejuvenation specialty emulsion, TOPEIN®C.  TOPEIN®C is a homogenous emulsion of TOPEIN® and selected asphaltene resins.  This emulsified rejuvenator has been specifically formulated for extending the life of asphalt pavements, and asphalt pavement surface treatments such as open graded friction courses, chip seals, slurry seals, and micro-surfacing.  TOPEIN®C is ideally suited as a fog seal maintenance treatment for interstate highways, state highways, county roads, city streets, and airport runways and taxiways.

PG and Modified Asphalts

At it’s new, state of the art manufacturing facility in Bakersfield, Alon Asphalt – Bakersfield produces many quality modified/unmodified asphalt binders for paving applications.  Alon Asphalt – Bakersfield has the expertise and capability to produce PG and PBA modified asphalts which will become the standard specified products for the California DOT beginning January 2006.
